Notes

This session went better than the others. Of course, the girls always like sharing, so talking about the healthy activities they did with their families was neat.  And, they really seemed to get into the Circle Map of Caring, so that was fun.  The story was nice and simple, so the girls really got the message.  However, when it came to having them identify similar problems in their own neighborhood, it was a bit challenging to get keep everyone on track.  But, it all worked out well in the end.  And, it was nice having a session with no homework.

Notes

Our Brownie troop did Quest session 2 today, and it went much better than session 1.  We did the workbook parts orally, letting girls write the answers in their workbook if they wanted to, which worked out well. The girls really enjoyed the “loop the hoop” team building game, which was no surprise, as they always like games.  However, they also liked creating the “Brownie Team Agreement”, which was neat to see.
